Ready to take purchasing to the next level? Then join our team as a Strategic Buyer (m/f/x) with a focus on steel and welded assemblies. You'll be dealing with components that have to withstand a lot: from clever designs to strong conditions. You'll ensure that quality, costs, and delivery capabilities work together perfectly.

 

With your eye for numbers and markets, you will identify potential savings, recognize trends early on, and ensure sustainable price stability. At the same time, you will use your negotiating skills to build up a high-performance supplier portfolio and bring exciting purchasing projects to fruition.

Your Future Role

  • Independent execution of tenders and analysis of bids, including award decisions for strategic product groups
  • Support in the development, design, and implementation of product group strategies
  • Identification of cost-saving potential, monitoring of price fluctuations, and ensuring price stability for assigned product groups
  • Responsibility for and continuous optimization of the product group and supplier portfolio to be managed
  • Organization and implementation of strategic purchasing projects
  • Conducting price and quality negotiations

What You Bring to the Team

  • Successfully completed degree in economics or a comparable qualification
    Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally as a strategic purchaser (m/f/x)
  • Knowledge of conducting tenders and inquiries
  • Knowledge in the areas of cost and price structure analysis as well as strong analytical skills and a keen awareness of costs
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
