Founded in 1948 by roller shutter and blind manufacturer Heinrich Weimar, the company is Europe's leading specialist in windows and doors for the container industry. ELA Container has been sourcing Weimar products since the 1990s, initially through intermediaries. Since 2003, Weimar GmbH has been manufacturing both windows and window accessories – including directly for ELA. In the early 2000s, development began on the company's best-selling product, the ‘Compact’ window system, which was developed in-house. Since 2021, Weimar GmbH has been part of the ELA Container Group, but continues to operate under the name Weimar GmbH. We are currently looking for additional production staff for Weimar GmbH in Lotte, a company belonging to the ELA Group that specialises in the construction of windows and doors for modular buildings.

Your Future Role

  • Manufacture of window components in production
  • Collaboration in the timely production of windows for container and modular construction methods
  • Operation and monitoring of machines in cutting, milling and welding processes
  • Assumption of minor management or team leadership tasks in production (depending on experience)

What You Bring to the Team

  • Several years of professional experience in production or skilled trades
  • Completed vocational training, e.g. as a carpenter or metalworker, is an advantage but not a mandatory requirement
  • Manual dexterity and an interest in learning new skills
  • Initial management experience is an advantage – alternatively, willingness to develop into a management role
  • Independent, committed and responsible approach to work.
