Your apprenticeship at ELA

Technical system planners specialising in steel and metal construction technology produce drawings and technical documents for steel and metal buildings. You usually work on the computer with the help of CAD systems. Based on specifications from the development or design department, you produce general drawings for metal constructions such as bridges, gates, windows and facades or detailed plans for the production of all individual parts of a crane.

For example, you depict objects in their details or in assembled condition from different perspectives. In doing so, you observe the relevant drawing standards and enter appropriate dimensions for production and assembly. You will also prepare project documentation.

During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will get to know our CAD department, our research & development and the special construction of ELA containers at ELA Container Engineering GmbH.
