As Head of Research & Development (m/f/x), you will play a key role in our company and make a significant contribution to ensuring our competitiveness and future viability. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of the R&D department, the monitoring and coordination of projects and the promotion of innovation and creativity in our team.

Your Future Role

  • Strategic planning and support of all R&D activities
  • Developing and implementing a forward-looking R&D strategy that supports our corporate goals
  • Ensuring that our development projects are optimally aligned with current market requirements
  • Designing a comprehensive concept for cross-divisional and cross-departmental collaboration and effective internal and external communication
  • Creating and monitoring the R&D budget to ensure efficient use of resources

What You Bring to the Team

  • Successfully completed studies in engineering, natural sciences, technology management or similar qualification
  • Advanced degree (e.g. Master, PhD) is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of R&D
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating teams
  • Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Broad network in the academic community desirable
